Good morning,

Might somebody tell me what this Florida resident is? Thanks.

It appears to be a NON-INDIGENOUS Anole lizard (family: Polychrotidae). If the little guy can flare its throat (read: dewlap) it is definitely an Anole. I was born and raised in Miami. We had tons of these little guys along with iguanas. The green anole (Anolis carolinensis) is the only anole native to the U.S.

Here is a link that might be useful: Green Anole (Anolis carolinensis)

That was just a quick snapshot taken by an acquaintance, so I don't know if it had a dewlap, but it sure does look like this Brown Anole. Thanks.
