Northern Blacktail Rattlesnake (pic)

I'm still busy working on a trip report with lots of pics, but as a teaser here is a blacktail rattlesnake on the crawl that I found in SE Arizona.

I love the rich gold color of Arizona blacktail rattlesnakes.

Thanks Scott,

We initially spotted the snake crossing a road but it was on the move and when it left the road it started climbing. The picture is of the snake as it was moving through the terrain once it had left the road. We just followed and snapped photos as it kept moving until it had moved over a hill and out of sight.
