Junk yard on the moon

Our environment includes our only moon in my opinion. It's not funny that we now have an automobile junk yard on the moon, if in fact we did go to the moon. There's also an american flag, and parts of a Lem module in the moon junk yard too, thanks to us americans.

All toll there are about 20+ missions on the "ground" up there from both US & Soviet sources. Six Apollo landing missions and several other earlier crash & photo probes plus a few soft lander photo probes. Other junk includes now defunct orbiters and a few probes from ESA & Japan as well. Hardly scratches the surface compared to what we're doing to Terra Firma back here. vgkg

Sticks, I was on the run yesterday when I posted but wanted to thank you for bringing up the subject. Last year I posted a similar concern about the orbiting space junk and it's growing threat...thought you may be interested. My "hope" for the future is that one day the more important lunar landing/debris fields will be preserved as lunar parks/museums and saved for history & tourism. vgkg
