There's a company called Zoltec that makes the carbon fibers used for the photovoltaic panels...at least I think that's what they do. I think they're based in the USA.

Zoltec also makes great converters with stop gaps that keep your stored energy from being sucked up by the electric company in the event of a power outage,,(if your still on the grid) Vertually all panels work the same (or same principle) depends on the number, what your energy needs will be, heating,, cooling,, appliances, motors. pumps. Just how solar are you?

I'm not solar at all yet, just a lucky holder of their stock. Gotta love the ones that double in a month's time. I can't afford solar panels, so I thought I would invest in a company that can produce the cash for me. I thought on the grid customers had to be cut off from power in the event of an outage to prevent utility workers from being zapped while repairing the lines? I take it these converters prevent the power from traveling back to the pole?
